Does your club need assistance with the Rules of Golf?

Do you have members that would be interested in attending a Rules of Golf evening?

Ivano Ficalbi, Managing Director of Dale Hayes Golf Events and a fully qualified R&A Rules Referee have the solution. We have 2 options available to the club:

Option 1: Golf Course Rules Certification

Ivano will drive the course and identify any problem areas that will lead to rules issues. He will show the relevant person at the club where the problem areas are and how they can be prevented. Any issues will be related to the rulebook and solutions will be supplied along with the correct wording for any local rules.

An in depth report will also be made available to the club.

Cost: R2500 excluding VAT and all travel expenses.

Option 2: Golf Course Rules Certification with an interactive Rules Evening for Club Members

As per Option 1, Ivano will then facilitate a Rules Evening at the club for interested members. The evening will consist of 2 parts:

·        Part 1 is a 45 minute discussion on issues relative to the club and the problem rules.

·        Part 2 is a 45 minute interactive open discussion where members can ask any rules queries.

Cost: R5000 excluding VAT and all travel expenses.

The first Ebotse Rules Evening was held last week Thursday and was thoroughly enjoyed by the members who attended. Rules Guru, Ivano Ficalbi was kept extremely busy throughout the night with some extremely extra ordinary ruling. The environmental zones and hazards were a hot topic and thoroughly discussed or should I say debated. Ivano showed why he is a qualified R&A Official with impressive knowledge of the golf rules clearing up the hazard markings and environmental zones on the course.

Compliments must go to Ebotse Head Chef Rosou Rossouw who was on hand to prepare a delicious food. The world class six course delicious menus met everybody’s taste and appetite. Each menu was served with wine from Douglas Green and complimented each menu.

We are certain that everybody enjoyed the evening and were amazed that they still have to learn a lot about the rules of golf. Thanks to Ivan Ficalbi for hosting the evening and we look forward to the next rules evening.
